Motorcyclists Ride for Child Abuse Awareness

May 30, 2013 @ 11:30 AM — by Jeff Roberts

One of the best things about being a motorcycle rider is the opportunity to join up with others for a ride.  So why not ride for a cause?  Sunday, June 2ndis the “Ride to The Dunes for Child Abuse Awareness”, whose goal is to bring attention to the child abuse epidemic throughout the country.

With actor Lorenzo Lamas as the Grand Marshal, the ride starts in Marina Del Rey at Bartels Harley Davidson and ends at Sycamore Cove State Beach in beautiful Malibu.  The entry fee is $45 and $35 for passengers; the price includes the ride, lunch, and a concert by the band Alchemy.  If you are unable to make it for the ride itself, you can still come out for the lunch and concert.  The price for that is $20; merchandise is also available.  Registration is from 8:30 to 10 am, with the ride immediately following.  Come on out to do what you love and support this great cause at the same time!

As always, it is important to remain on alert and on the defensive while on a motorcycle.  Often times, negligent and careless drivers are not the look out for motorcyclists.  If you or a loved one has been involved in a motorcycle accident, contact The Roberts Law Firm.  We can help you receive compensation for the physical pain and emotional stress caused by such irresponsible drivers.
